We agree. However, an easy way to achieve templates in Crescendo today is for you to create your own template scores and put them in a Collection called “templates”. When you want a new score, open one of these template scores and choose File > Save A Copy.Deborah commented
I agree...I am a Noteflight Learn user and I use a very basic elementary beginning band score setup all the time but it isn't in the list. It would be nice to be able to add my favorite templates. right now, I just make a copy of an existing score and then delete the musical content!
Interesting idea! We will discuss it.
We know this can be annoying… we hope to fix in the future but for now there is a workaround: when you open a score use the right-click or control-click option to open in a new tab or window. Then close when done, and your score list sort order is still intact.
Thank you for this suggestion! We will review your ideas, but in the meantime, a question:
Our Groups feature lets you share and manage scores – please see https://notes.noteflight.com/noteflight-groups-now-available/
Does some of this function replace what you need Collections for?
