For those of you who want multiple chatting forums (art, stories, etc.), just keep in mind that this is supposed to be a music website. I actually think it's very generous that Noteflight has already given us ONE general discussion forum.

I agree! Here is what I posted on the thread in the Noteflight forum:

I think having a chit chat forum is totally fine. The problem is that we need a separation of the random music conversations from the random "other" conversations. I believe the original intent for the "Chit Chat Corner" was to chit chat about MUSIC, not about everything else. I think what we need is to have two separate chit chat forums - one called "Chit Chat Corner" for conversations that do not apply to music at all, and "Music Conversations" (or something like that) for the music-relevant threads that just don't belong in any of the other categories.

Although you can use dotted notes, I think having actual duplets would be neater on the page. Duplets wouldn't be hard to add either (we already have numbers 3 through 7).

I have thought about this for a while. I think this is a very good idea, especially because I don't think I have ever seen a forum that DIDN'T have a "random" or "general discussion" subsection. This would help keep the forums neat and organized because the music discussions would be in one place, and everything else could be elsewhere.
