Not to put too fine a point on it, but many of his have taken it at face value and written with the too-short staccato in mind. We should be allowed to maintain it. Additional flexibility would be a help, as was done with the length of grace notes. (In HTML5, at least.)
On that thought, is it too much to ask that Flash users be given the same updates? I would be using HTML5 if any computer/browser I'd tried it on was able to play it back successfully. Why should we be shut out of these developments because of the bugs in HTML5?
We have overhauled our Search option! Read all about it here: https://notes.noteflight.com/noteflight-improves-search-features/
Note: we have not yet implemented all of the ideas listed here, but many of them are still in our future plans. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, enjoy the much-improved search functionality!Stephen F. Czapla commented
It's a good idea. One thing you can do in the meantime is to make use of the Tags feature in Score Information. Mostly I write ragtime on here, but most of them don't have "Rag" in the title. I add "rag ragtime" to the tags, and a search on those words pulls them right up. It won't do everything, but it's a help.
