The playback of the single part works again, but selecting i.e. two parts still determines the playback of all the parts, not just these two. Can this be fixed as well?

I agree. Also the slur looks ugly joining the stem of one note with the head of other note (which is against the melisma direction). Stem direction control combined with slur layout would do the job.
