As part of our premium subscription service Noteflight Crescendo, we’re including over 50 professionally sampled orchestral and rock sounds from SONiVOX. We will be continuing to include more and more sounds — we’re not done yet!

What about pitched percussion? I'd really like to see some tabla, mridangam, and other world percussion.

I'd also like to see a full General MIDI set. Since this is a Java applet I would think you would be able to configure it to use my own MIDI synthesizer as an alternative... is this a possibility?

I agree, although at least there is an ability to exclude it from the "browse" area, so although it is technically "visible", there is no way for someone to find your score unless you provide them the link. This is the same way that Google manages sharing through their Calendar and Picasa apps.
