Offline downloadable version
I wish there was a version which was totally offline, which is downloaded and we can launch it by double-clicking it. Whis would allow users to compose while offline and save their scores to their hard drive. When they connect to the internet, their scores would automatically be updated.
In this way users could even carry Noteflight-Offline on their USB sticks! Oh, and please make it Free and Crescendo again, not only 1 or the other.
This page is for an offline DESKTOP/LAPTOP version, not mobile. To vote for a mobile app, see: https://noteflight.uservoice.com/forums/4962-tell-us-your-thoughts/suggestions/4327326-ios-and-android-apps-instead-of-accessing-through
Any updates on this?

Thanks for your comment and I'm sorry we were not more responsive in the past! Normally we are eager to make things right so I am sorry that didn't happen in this case. If you still need a refund, could you email email@example.com with your account details? Thanks again!
And please make it friendly to an older Mac OS! I had to BUY a new (to me) computer to continue using Noteflight when you upgraded and no longer supported older operating systems. I was pretty much told "too bad" by Noteflight and not even offered a refund when I could no longer use it. That is very poor customer service for a product I pay for (Premium).

The main problem I have with the online version is not that it's online, but that it's incredibly slow! I'm working on almost a full symphony score--it's not even a full symphony-- and every individual note placement, dynamic change, text movement, basically each and every minute action takes at least 5 seconds to register. I have picked up on how to do work on about 3 individual actions at a time in the middle of every single lag spike, but it just keeps getting worse as my songs get more complex and longer. I know it's browser limitations, because I have a fantastic computer--not top of the line $5,000 or more, but still better than the average PC-- and this simple notation program lags like crazy!
It's incredibly annoying to write original scores when you have to wait for the program to catch up with your writing. It's time that actually makes me lose a lot of my creative thinking.
Comparing this to almost any other professional program, I can't believe anyone pays for such a slow creativity killer! And I think it's a problem that can be fixed by moving this software from the slow browser to it's own installed desktop program.
Well I think you should be able to get unlimited scores so you can keep trying it to find out if you like it or not and if you do then you can pay by mm or by yy and get more things for the app
I would love a desktop version. When I travel the internet is sketchy, at best, and knowing I could work on my music instead of vapidly staring off into space thinking deep thoughts would probably be a great time saver. I'm not doing large compositions but filling in with the lack of an accompanist. This would allow me to swap out more songs instead of being shackled to the internet.
It would be nice to have the old version of Noteflight as a downloadable item. I'd definitely pay money for that.
an offline version would be fantastic
Yeah, honestly I would be willing to pay a couple bucks for an app like this.

Noteflight always had two options - Free or "Crescendo" (now called Premium).
Noteflight-Offline on their USB sticks! Oh, and please make it Free and Crescendo again, not only 1 or the other.
download Noteflight onto my desktop! Editing and composing large scores solely online is a lot for a browser to handle.
if i could vote for this 3 times i would. part of my job is vocal arranging, and noteflight's bugginess really impedes the pace at which i can work. i love you tho, noteflight.
I agree. Also, please allow single notes or chords to increase or decrease in volume over a measure.
please change the program system in note flight
I can not make many kinds of music without many rests
but they doesnnot get on
fix it please

Another vote for a desktop version of Noteflight. I use one of the premium versions for my classroom, personal use, etc. I'm currently arranging a section from Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet for my wedding--my score is only 9 instruments and 50 bars long and it's getting REALLY laggy. I'm only half way through the transcription and wishing I'd started it in Sibelius instead. It's taking 5 seconds sometimes just to delete a note. Otherwise, Noteflight is my go-to for composition, transcription, and arranging. It's also my preference for classroom teaching.
I always make large scores with a whole orchestra and It's nearly impossible when chrome crashes all the time and firefox works slowly. It would be so much easier to do it offline then upload it.
