Improve the collection/ folders feature
Hello! I am IT Specialist at IBM Brazil. And I enjoyed the Noteflight to edit my scores. I would like to help with some continuous feedback that can be very useful in productivity scores. In this feedback I want to talk about collections feature. It would be helpful if you could hold the CTRL key to select more than one item alternately. Today you can use the SHIFT key to sequentially select items. Another very useful feature would be the ability to drag and drop the item on the collection. Or also, click the right mouse button and select the collection.
Thank you for this suggestion! We will review your ideas, but in the meantime, a question:
Our Groups feature lets you share and manage scores – please see https://notes.noteflight.com/noteflight-groups-now-available/
Does some of this function replace what you need Collections for?

It would be very nice to have the possibility to organize collections within other collections. If you teach several different theory classes for example, and you have many different collections of scores for each class, your scores list will soon be very long. So, course A would be one collection, and inside that collection I'd like to have all the collections with scores belonging to that course, and so on.

Thank you for your reply! We will keep looking at possible solutions for this.

I tested group and it not replace what I need. In the group I need open the score to add on group. It's very slow.

The 'collections' menu sometimes doesn't offer enough organization... It would work much better if you could create folders like on your computer hard drive, with folders inside of folders etc.

As a teacher I can already sort my scores into collections when they are sorted they still remain visible in the main score list. I have over 50 scores. It should be possible to hide the scores from the main list that have been allocated into collections.
Totally support this idea. I think it's a teacher thing. I have a huge number of students' sharing work with me daily and it would be so much easier if I could add them to a collection with the name of the class for example.
it'd be great if we could orginize are public scores, by being able to make folder's, because I'm tired of putting "Original Score" and "Cinemaitc Music" on almost all my scores

improve the folder system, to archive items out of your main list. The folders are ok, but it doesn't clean up your main screen. If you put something in a folder you should be able to get it off your main list. I want to keep current projects there and archive things that are done.
It's great that you can organize your scores into folders now, but on the "your scores" page, it would be helpful if you could list all the scores "by folder section", like you can already list "by most recent" etc.
So if you select list "by folder", your scores would be arranged something like this:
- score a
- score b
- score c
- score d
- score e
- score g
Not in Folder
So you can see all your scores together organised into their folders rather than having to click on each folder to see what is in them.
Add other people's scores to my collections.
As a teacher I have a large number of student work. I want to be able to organise it in collections so that I don't have to wade the whole list every time!

I wish the folder system could be improved so that once it is in a folder, it DOESN'T show up on my homepage anymore. I have like 100+ scores and I have tried to organize them but I found that they'r still there on my homepage. I.e., completed scores could be organized so they don't take up space on my scores page.
This would make it easy to check if all students from a certain group have logged on for homework/development etc.
I wish I could view only my collection of songs that have not yet been tagged/organized.

Allow you to change the order in which scores appear in collections
The default sort order for collections is by date - most recent scores first. I sort some collections by title. I'd prefer that whatever sort order I select for a given collection would remain in effect unless I change it. As it is, moving a score from one collection to another, for example, causes the order to revert to the default.
