Let the various signatures be changed within the piece.
In the pieces I've played for school, there is usually a change in the BPM, or the key signature. Sometimes even the time signature, but I don't see where I can change it in the middle of the piece on Noteflight. ._.

Set up instruments togethet for different bands
Like Marching Band instruments together, Jazz instruments, Symphonic, Orchestra. Just make it easier. I can just go and click the sort of band I'm writing for and add extra instruments if needed.

defining tempo
as far as i could tell, the tempo seems to only measure how fast quarter notes go, which can cause a problem if you have something in 4:2, 2:2, 3:8, 6:8, 9:8, or something similar.....maybe if we could choose which kind of note goes how fast (like a dotted quarter note to go so and so many bpm, o... more

We need to be able to set a tempo, but I can't figure out how, if I can at all.
I can't figure out how to set the tempo, and the song I'm transcribing is way to fast.

Toggle Sound
Be able to turn the volume up or down, specifically on noteflight.

Include a Volume Change.
It would be helpful to include a volume change so that if someone decides to put a fortissimo it doesn't make us deaf, or when there's a pianissimo, we can hear it.

It would be useful to be able to adjust playback volume, especially when using public computers, where users can't always control the computer's volume.

Different views - include/exclude parts
In addition to a mixer to silence parts, I'd also to be able to create different views of a score, showing different parts. eg. a lead sheet with just melody line, and a more complete arrangement for playback. I'd rather these were conceived as alternate views, rather than a part extraction process.

Support pedal notations, 8va/8vb, etc.
Lots of piano music uses these notations. C'mon, Noteflight, get to work!

Tempo Changes
The user should be able to create a song with more than one tempo. Please add a feature that would make it possible to change the tempo in different parts of the score.

i agree with drummerlmholz. I have to print out m music then write in my own triplets and it's a huge pain! Please add triplets to noteflight!

Play back according to repeat bar lines and endings
I would like to be able to get Noteflight to play back my score according to repeat barlines, DC al fine, and in this context also make the first repetition play the first ending, and second repetition play second ending and so on.

Get more instrument sounds
How about more unpitched percussion, mallets, brass, and some strings?

Free Noteflight
I understand that a website costs money to put up. But only 25 scores for a free account is really not fair if someone had 24 scores before the Crescendo account because now they can only compose 1 more. Some people also don't have the money to support it.
