I suggest you ...

add measure numbers at the end of every line.

it's just easier to read music while you're rehearsing or learning a song so you don't have to write them in or count everytime you want to find a certain measure.

        this is a great idea! i really wish there was a way to do this, my music needs measure numbers also

        Very simple idea, but immeasurably valuable (pun intended!). Measure numbers, though, are usually printed at the start of each system.

        number every measure actually, when i see a piece of music most of the time it has every measure numbered and special number for a change in style or something like that
