  Why not have it be a choice?
  Can't we have an option for a log-in theme?
  Why not make it possible to write your own log-in theme?

  There, however should be a default.
  Maybe there could be a vote.
  For humor, why not have it on 12/21/12.

  I think we should go with Adrian's idea for competition.

  I think a competition would be fun, the Starshine competition was interesting, but then I wasn't a good enough composer to enter. Maybe this contest could have requirements like it has to be less than 3 sec or only use original noteflight instruments....

  @ap-bookwyrm: Up to now, it seems like alot of people like this theme, but I think it's a good idea to change it on a regular basis.

  I think a theme is great, but we should have a competition between all the users that want to participate. Maybe a vote?

  I like the little theme you've composed, but I don't think that it should be the one for noteflight. Or atlease not the only one. Maybe they could have recent popular compositions as the "welcome to the website" song that they change every day or so.
  But if you do only the one, it might be kind of a turn off for people who don't like the theme you've written or want to use the website for different types of music than that.

  VERY NICE ORIGINAL OFFERING. I like it enough to be "inspired" by it. After all, imitation is the highest form of flattery
  And the expanded form is also enticing. But I would think the dulcimer and oboe players feel left out, nest-ce pas?

  @Perry.. lolz U been watching Kramer too much... oh, and in the show Kramer tries to do this and his daddy whistles the winning song while kramer and his orchestra fails. Less can truly be more. A theme should be short and appealing.

  It would be too much putting all the instruments. The idea is to make it simple and short: Less is more.

  pretty nice, but if noteflight has a theme it should be with every instrument fundamental and dynamic noteflight has to offer
