        AKN, It's not quite killing two birds with one stone, because XML is exported directly from the score document while MIDI is exported from a "performance interpretation" of the score that boils the music down to a series of concrete events such as note on/off tempo changes, dynamics, patch assignments, etc. So MIDI and XML export are separate projects for us.

        Please. I just realized that Finale Notepad (my secondary to Noteflight) can import and export MusicXML. It would be rather nice.
