Please make it possible to flip stems.
If it were possible, it would make connecting a slur from one note (pointing one way) to another note a couple notes later (pointing in the opposite direction)less awkward looking.
Example: G,A (both eighth notes)then G+G(octave quarter note) that segment looks very strange when trying to create a slur from g to the pair of G's.
Our understanding from the authoritative notation literature — yes, we actually read that boring stuff — is that slurs don’t affect stem positions. Can you send us (at support email) a URL linking to an example? You should be able to get good results by simply reshaping the slur to your heart’s content.

Yes, I've just finished a score with many slurs, which I reshaped whenever there were collisions between stems and slur.
But then I added Lyrics, and the slur went back to its default position. After reshaping it, I added dynamics.
The same happened again, and I had to correct the slur for a third time! Why cannot the slur keep the reshaped form if something get changed to the note to which it is connected?

The software should allow this. I have experienced a group of notes where all the notes were below the center line of a staff, so the stems went up, and there was one note on the center line where the stem went down. Very odd. Notes with stems on the center line should be able to go either way. Also, when there is a slur, it should be possible to make all the stem go in the direction of the majority.
