We just released this feature in 2.7.1! View menu now allows measure numbers to be displayed/printed at start of each system.

@Admin & DevTeam: i've not seen any comment to my last post. Is there any problem with it? can i help somehow?
        Regards,
        Gilles

@DevTeam: Have a look at the link i supplied in my past comment. As mentioned, the numbering rule is easy:
        1) The first measure is regular: no problem, obvious.
        2) The first measure is irregular: it does not count. But the last one (before a repetition/end bar) counts. After a repetition bar, the same situation occurs, as in the beginning.
Have a look at any printed score and you'll see. IMHO there are only these 2 situations you've to figure out.
As an correct example, have a look here: http://imslp.org/wiki/Special:ImagefromIndex/78140
in the second mouvement, the "Courante". It is quite obvious.
        Best regards,
        Gilles

@gmaitre, we'll look into the repetition bar issue. Can you provide an example to pass to the development team?

At some point it might be better to let users flag specific bars as "not counting" rather than trying to automatically figure it out in all possible cases.

Great... Thank you very much. Unfortunately, there is still a small mistake: if the piece of music starts with a uncomplete measure (for example http://www.noteflight.com/scores/view/b897f1fff30c375cfc892d337f5ac18b8957d240), the first measure counts as a zero measure. Only a full measure counts, this is correctly implemented. But the same situation occurs after the repetition bar... => the first measure after it count for nuts too, as in the beginning... ;-) Should not be problematic to fix it.
Once again, thx a lot, best regards,
        Gilles

I bought a one year subscription of Crescendo, hoping it may help to get this feature... It should not be too complicated to add this and would really help (with a placement at every system would be enough for me too).
So dear Noteflight guys, implement it... tks

        About placement of bar-numbers:
At the start of every system (my preferred place)

Rehearsal numbers would be great, too!

It is a real important feature. Otherwise you have to do it by hand every time...

Another thing is to do this but also add the option of numbering specific intervals of measures like every five measures.

Also, please print the title on each page like this: "Song of the Singers (2/3)"
as well, please allow printing of only specific pages instead of whole score.
