Allow multi-dotted notes, rather than toggling a single dot.

Maybe not essencial, but for completeness, and cleaner scores. Seems easy to implement...

        Double-dots are an option under the Symbols palette (perhaps a newer feature than this idea), but I agree, a 1-3 dot toggle would be a more convenient interface.

        It would be useful to allow the "." command to toggle between one to three augmentation dots. For example, pressing "." once adds a single dot, pressing "." again adds a double dot, pressing "." again adds a triple dot, and pressing "." a fourth time removes any augmentation dots. More than three augmentation dots on a note are extremely rare (I have never seen more than three).

        I disagree. This IS essential. In general, I believe the developers should prioritize simple features and functions like this that will make the notation easier to enter, more beautiful and complete. The more advanced functions (e.g., midi playback features) are nice, but not essential.
