        econio: Thanks for the tip. Using lower case prevents the transposition, but then Noteflight doesn't apply the nice formatting that you get when you use all caps. Oh well, it's a small thing. Overall, Noteflight is a great program!

        This seems to have been implemented (10/15/09), thanks! One bug: When transposing a major chord (such as CMAJ), the A in MAJ is also transposed. For example, when CMAJ is transposed to DMAJ, the result as displayed in Noteflight is DMBJ. When DMAJ is transposed to CMAJ, the result is CMGJ.
