Multi-Measure Rest
Make it possible to have a multi-measure rest, e.g.
|- 4 -| is a four measure rest. When producing scores with long segments of resting having one blank measure after other wastes space and is difficult to follow.

I'm currently using a free account and I have to say noteflight is great and has helped me improve a whole lot. This is the only thing noteflight lacks and as soon as this option is availiable I'm upgrading to a crescendo account. Thank You for such a great program

Noteflight's lack of multi-measure rests is a a deal breaker! I will continue to use other music notation software until the issue is resolved.

This should be a very high priority. It is one of the few basic features that Noteflight lacks.
If it is only available in the individual parts, that would be fine with me. I don't think it would interfere with playback as much as if it applied to the entire score. -

I definitely agree. 16 measures of rest takes up way too much page space and is difficult to follow. Long rests would be GREAT!

This would save so much time and page space! Right now I have to take a screenshot and use GIMP to edit in multi-measure rests so I don't have those 20 measures filled with whole rests when I print out my music.

this could exponentially legitimize such a program. honestly, i wouldnt be that hard to program with the playback, and it would make the users, YOUR CUSTOMERS!!! much happier!

I wrote an orchestra piece and I like to have only two or three sections playing at one time and I have a HUGE (like twenty-something measures) resting section for two parts at the same time!
