We’re definitely going to look into IE8 compatibility now that it’s out. Most likely these issues are generic problems with Flash and IE8 but we will be searching for workarounds. For now, Compatibility Mode is definitely your friend.

Works fine for me in IE8. Also, you need to upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (10.0.32.18) for Export to work.

sorry, but considering that the trouble with IE is Microsofts fault to comply with standards, and there are many free alternatives available, I consider extended IE-compatibility work a waste of time and resources. Get a decent browser.

Thank you very much! :) Now that I look back three days ago, I could've just stuck with ie7 of gone to firefox or something, but, whatever :-p

I've clicked the Comptibility View button next to the address bar to force IE7 render settings, otherwise the editor does not load properly. But (at least on my Flash 10, IE8, Vista SP1) when exporting (particuluarly MIDI), no filetype appears, and "Working" with no progress bar appears and just sits there for hours. :/

Giving you a vote but to help the compatibility mode thing click on the bar at the bottom and it should sort out :) But i can still export though...
