Let users organize scores with tags or folders
It's kind of lame to just give me a list of My Scores that gets longer and longer. I want tags, folders, or something that lets me organize my music!

Wouldn't it be great if we could see exactly how many views our songs get?
Youtube and mygamebuilder has a views/plays count on the project. It would be great to have that same feature on this site.

We think this is a good idea too.

Multi-Measure Rest
Make it possible to have a multi-measure rest, e.g.
|- 4 -| is a four measure rest. When producing scores with long segments of resting having one blank measure after other wastes space and is difficult to follow.410 votesplanned ·

Hi Multi-Measure Rest fans — we haven’t forgotten you! We know it’s an important feature and the team appreciates all the feedback. We hope to roll this out soon.

Allow ritards and accelerandos
Near the end of the piece I like to add ritards. It brings a feeling of resolution that cannot be replaced. In the middle sometimes pieces sound better just a little faster.

BUG: Dynamics ignored if score not played from beginning
The dynamics markings (p,pp, mf, ff etc.) are great, but are ignored if they occur before the playback point. Please fix this, it make things really difficult.

Get Drumset Crash, Marching Drums, Latin Percussion
Hey Noteflight Team, I love the software and everything! What I am REALLY hoping for is some more percussion sounds/notes. If there could be a crash or splash for the drumest? or if there could be some latin style percussive sounds- such as cowbell, maracas, guero? Finally i would love it if there could be quad toms, marching snare/bass. Thankyou

Support arpeggiated chords
In sheet music, a zig-zag line next to a chord indicates arpeggiation, and means that the notes of the chord should be played in quick sequence rather than at once.

Show if a score is original or not.
I don't want to look at a bunch of crappy pop music transcriptions or hear another arrangement of blue moon. I want to be able to view only ORIGINAL scores other people have created. I am sorry I don't know how to implement this (tags maybe?) but it would be nice for me to be able to not see all the crap that i've heard before and see only original works.

Make an iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad App
Oh my gosh! I love Noteflight, but I think that there should be an iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad app. I really want it. It would be great! I could write music on my iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad. It doesn't have to be free, but PLEASE don't make it over $4.00. It should be free though. Also, make it so you can log in to your account and continue on one of your projects. I would love it. Thank you. Thanks!

The thing with all the input items
We all know of the thing that floats around when you edit the sheet music. It's the thing that has the quarter notes, the eight notes and of course dynamics and the tablature and everything else. I can't stand the fact that it moves around. It gets in my way when I'm trying to edit the sheet music. Wouldn't it be great if it stays like on the side of the editor? Like, maybe in the upper right hand corner or upper left hand corner? Just so it stays out of our way. Won't it be much easier?

turn OFF auto save!! (or make it smarter)
The auto save feature is a good idea, but in practice it is very troublesome. Many times I am working with a slow Internet connection and when it starts to save, I have to wait and wait... please allow offline working as well. This would speed up the autosave feature enormously (then maybe it would be OK). Save on local hard drive, then when you go back online - save work to server then!

We’ve backed off on the auto save behavior quite a bit and made it less frequent. We are continuing to look into ways of making it unobtrusive.

I just wanted to say that we agree that Noteflight doesn’t do a great job on percussion yet — it’s a pretty significant amount of work and our plates are full! However, we are looking into expanding our sound samples to include these instruments as a first step, and we’re aware of the need for specific percussion notation improvements as a followup to that.

let users change default (new) score
Most of the time I want to start a score with a guitar part, but as always, a new score starts with piano. So I have to wait for all the piano sounds to load before I create a guitar staff, and then delete the piano staffs. It would be nice if every user could set thier default preferences so new scores would be more what they want.

Allow friends ratings and subscriptions
I think it would be nice to add friends so you can send them private messages and have subscriptions so people can be alerted of your new scores every time they log in. also ratings from one star to five stars. it wuold also be nice to let only your friends help you make a score because if you click let otheer useres change this score then anyone can change it.

Fix "Ctrl+" Shortcuts
Ctrl+S, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Y don't work, at least on my Vista IE7 running Flash Player 10. I used those shortcuts eight times for this post alone, it is such a pain to "Edit/Paste" everything...

Fix the Instrument Cut-Off Problem
When I play a song with nothing added to it, it sounds very choppy, and nothing is sustained to it's right value. I have to add tenuto articulations on every note to make it sound decent. I would like to not have to do that for every song, because it fills up the whole page with lines. Please fix!

We’re thinking about how best to address this. In the meantime folks should know that instead of putting tenuto on every note, you can also use slurs to cause passages to be performed with no breaks between notes.

Add glissandos
Just thought that glissando's would be a useful feature. I happen to be a trombonist (which still hasn't been added) and would like to see glissando's added. I do appreciate that it would be hard to script a piano glissando, but I hope you will be able to do something about this. Thanks in advance.
