It doesn't have to be free, but PLEASE don't make it over $4.00. It should be free though. Also, make it so you can log in to your account and continue on one of your projects. I would love it. I don't know if this could be possible, but it would be AWESOME if there was a tool that showed if a Noteflight user copied from your score. It would be so helpful and prevent copying others' works, especially when people present it as their own. [updated]
I was really disappointed to find that Noteflight doesn't have half-sharps and half-flats! And I was very surprised to see that double-dotted notes are impossible. Adding these things would create ease for composers and eliminate the need for many otherwise useless notes that could be replaced with a simple dot. Half-flats are my life when it comes to music; I haven't been able to make a REAL song on Noteflight yet. :(

Qwertyzxcv1 said:

Double dotted notes ARE possible...

Qwertyzxcv1tag:feedback.noteflight.com,2008-02-07:Event/112480142012-04-28T06:44:00-07:002012-04-28T06:44:00-07:00Show the duration of a piece, and make a bar that shows the song's progress as it's being played, almost like the progress bar on mp3 music.
ziddy6 suggested:
Would this be possible?
ziddy6tag:feedback.noteflight.com,2008-02-07:Event/112480082012-04-28T06:41:05-07:002012-04-28T06:41:05-07:00Please allow users to search through their favorites.
ziddy6 suggested:
Sometimes, I go to my favorites list to listen to one of the many incredible compositions on Noteflight that I have favorited. But I have many pages of favorites. There are no necessary downloads, it's totally free and the features are great. My partner and I used this for a Science Olympiad event where we had to write our own music for instruments we built. This made it look professional and was very easy to use. Thank you so much for providing this service!
softballgirl05tag:feedback.noteflight.com,2008-02-07:Event/112442062012-04-27T11:21:53-07:002012-04-27T11:21:53-07:00Make a way to remove triplets!!! [updated]
I created a triplet in a score, and could not figure out how to remove the triplet after realizing I had made a mistake. I was forced to use undo, and when I discovered that the undo history did not go back far enough, I had to exit the score and go to the last save which, thankfully did not include the dreaded triplet. Maybe a "Remove Tuplet" button in the Score pannel?

Anonymous said:

I think u should just delete the bar and start the bar from scratch again

Anonymoustag:feedback.noteflight.com,2008-02-07:Event/112379992012-04-26T15:23:53-07:002012-04-26T15:23:53-07:00Make A Different Website Entirely For Chatting About Music [updated]
I quote ziddy6:
"So you all have been suggesting we add art forums and writing forums. I fully support this as an artist and writer myself. HOWEVER, what if the creators of Noteflight made a writing website to share our writing and an art website to share our art. Both should work like Noteflight, with comments, browsing, profiles, etc. So, what do you think, 13LCKR and all others who want new forums? :)"
I think that Mr. Berkovitz, Admin, and the other creators of noteflight specialize in sharing art. Not just paintings, but music, sounds, passion, even personality. I also think maybe we could take the art and the writing to a different website, and maybe a different website for chatting about MUSIC.
I hope this gets out to people, and with my best wishes,

However... Noteflight is a music website. The developers probably have no desire to create a website that isn't related to music and composition. Having websites for writing and other art is totally fine, but I don't see the logic behind asking Noteflight to create them. It would be like asking the developers of Google to create a site for Harry Potter fans...two completely unrelated topics that are both fine by themselves, but have no reason to be run by the same company.

I'd be willing to bet that the kind of website you are looking for probably already exists. Take a look and see if you can find one.

(I did not mean for this comment to seem rude in any way - I just wanted to show you why I'm pretty sure Noteflight isn't going to honor your request for unrelated websites.)

cellogirl96tag:feedback.noteflight.com,2008-02-07:Event/112320562012-04-25T20:21:45-07:002012-04-25T20:21:45-07:00Make the users capable to make the sheet size into a marching sizeAnonymoustag:feedback.noteflight.com,2008-02-07:Event/112314022012-04-25T17:17:58-07:002012-04-25T17:17:58-07:00Make A Different Website Entirely For Chatting About Music [updated]
I quote ziddy6:

[updated]
NoteFlight Unlimited would be a kind of membership you could buy that would give you unlimited scores. It's like this:
Free/Basic = 10 Scores + basic instruments
Unlimited = unlimited scores + basic instruments
Picky = basic everything + buy other things individually.
Crescendo = the full suite, Instruments scores and all.
So, what does anybody think?

xman720 said:

I don't use any of the elecetric instruments, why should I pay for them?
